Sandman aka Sancannon brought together Philly’s Finest Femcees to honor The Queen of Philly Hip-Hop, Bahamadia. Emcees paid tribute to Bahamadia at the Arts Garage on March 10th, Bahamadia is not only born and raised in the city but  she is one of the dopest lyricist to ever touch the mic be it male or female.

Outsiders know Philadelphia as  the city of Brotherly Love, but if you are from here you may think differently. Philly is known to have the crab in the barrel mentality, but  that theory was laid to rest when Philly stood up and came out to pay homage to our own, Bahamadia. The event showcased Housewife, Nina Ross, Ms. Jade, Hedonis da Amazon, and the Last Donna to name a few.

Hosted by Sandman and music provided by DJ Nophrillz it was truly an enjoyable event. The taste makers of the Philly music scene was definitely in the building and all around it was Philly supporting Philly. The event was a success and hopefully it will be more to come. It was only fitting that the night ended to UKNOWHOWWEDU and the crowd rocked rocked on.
