We get one step closer to living like the Jetsons everyday!
The Internet has made it even easier for people to get scammed by scalpers looking to unload fake concert tickets for a buck. It’s become such a problem that concert promoters have been looking into alternatives to help the common consumer go to a concert in peace.
LiveNation thinks they have the answer as they have introduced a new digital wristband to try to fight off ticket fraud. The band is embedded with a “smart-chip,” making it unique to the person who is wearing it. In fact, along with admission, the band can allow it’s wearer to purchase food and drinks with the technology as well.
The wristbands are in the midst of being tested now, at some smaller festivals LiveNation is promoting. If it succeeds, expect to be wearing a shiny new accessory the next time Jay-Z or Madonna comes to town!
Sounds like a good idea to us! Not as good as a flying car, but we are patient.
Concertgoers – how does this sound to U?
