The Famous Factory Show @ Public Assembly feat. Curren$y, Dom Kennedy, Skyzoo, Rich Hil & Laws (Mixtapes)

Man am I exhausted, I really should just get some rest or get drunk, but I think i’m going to go do some work and go this concert.  I never really consider any of this stuff work anyway, I probably would have still went to the 20 something concerts I’ve been to in various cities this year alone even if I wasn’t doing it in some work capacity or another.  This year I just decided I would do things I like and in part that meant going to see concerts.  Among many other things, and I think that has worked out pretty well.  I like 2010 Doc a lot more than 2009 Doc too, 2009 Doc was a fucking bitch and if I could go back in time I would smack fire out of him and then spit in face just off GP and then be like and what bitch ass nigga can’t beat me.  Anyway, when I found out about this concert through the lovely Jasmine Solano it couldn’t have came at a better time this week, my kitchen was all types of fucked and my car was still in the shop.  I’ve been looking forward to it all week, music really does have a way of cheering me up.  Not to mention the fact I haven’t took Curren$y’s Pilot Talk out of the fucking rental car since I got it.  So it just seemed like the perfect opportunity to write more about it considering how much I really like it.  If you haven’t picked it up please do so, it’s just a real good, chill album i’m really looking forward to seeing Curren$y perform it in it’s ENTIRETY.  I’ve never seen that done before too, so i’m really excited about that, this almost makes us for missing the concert here.  As far the mixtapes go i’ll have to run through them over a couple days next week like i’ve been doing with the Sha Stimuli mixtapes this week found here, I hope I will enjoy them just as much.  The ones I did listen to I liked a lot How Fly, Smokee Robinson, and This Ain’t No Mixtape. As always look out for the recap and I might even have some updates on fucking bitchass twitter from the concert.  Or maybe I might just go on living my life…you never know.  In theory you would think an inappropriately, surprisingly guy like myself who fully embrace twitter, but I guess not.

Skyzoo is almost at every show I go to in NY and definitely one of the hardest working rappers, i’m anxiously awaiting the new album from him and Illmind.  Here’s the single

I’m really kinda looking forward to seeing Laws perform, I have been going back and forth trying to decide if I wanted to even download this mixtape and then when the No DJ version dropped with some extra songs I figured fuck it add it to massive queue.  Fucking rental car is really fucking up my music rotation.
