Holy Fucking Belated Birthday Mixtapes Phrillz

When J asked me to put together kind of a bday mixtape thingy together for Phrillz I thought it would be a great idea…the timing couldn’t have been more terrible with my busy ass schedule, but a great idea nonetheless. Plus what better way to get some more music from local artists up on the site than my putting some of the mixtapes up from one of the hardest working DJs, not just mixtape DJs folks because he’s a real fucking DJ. However, I thought just 3 of his best mixtapes wouldn’t nearly suffice for 1 of the 2 DJs that has really helped me out a lot and in many ways saved my life. Check the video out below, the DJ kills me every time.

Yes, this is the same joke I used on Facebook…no homo, pause, pause again, no homo. It was supposed to be far funnier on here…but I haven’t really been myself the past couple of days. Anyway, I started thinking even though it was Phrillz birthday I couldn’t just overlook Benja, Ccelli, O, or J. J, for future reference you will be taking on the role of birthday reminder for me, similar to my mom. I really am very thankful to be surrounded by some wonderful women…men not so much, but there are a few that have been influential in my life. As I got to thinking about all of them and some other people that I am truly thankful for, more than they probably realize. I started thinking about writing about why I haven’t felt like myself this week…and some of my own demons. Most people that know me probably would never even know exist, but I guess like my friend once told me it’s the people that seem to have it together that carry the heaviest burden. I have tried to write about it before, see the still unfinished Stack Bundles/Letter To Stack Post or rather lack thereof found here. I guess more and more these days i’ve been thinking about how it might actually help me to write about it, I really could never guessed how much I would enjoy writing and how therapeutic it could be. Lately i’ve been thinking about how much it might help others as well to hear some of my own story of sex, scandal, and triumph. However, when I got all ready to write it I was pretty sure it wasn’t appropriate to write it now. In fact, I was a 100% sure now was not a good time to write it lol…you know in a fucking birthday post. Nonetheless, I thought an explanation was at least in order and I couldn’t just post about Phrillz and no one else especially since some other bdays past without any acknowledgement or even some heavy alcohol consumption. Benja, to make it up to you as you were the second aforemtioned DJ, I will try my best to attend ever function you are DJing. I will act like I own the place and hang out with you practicing my dance moves in V.I.P. The more lavious the event the more likely I will be attending, I figure it is the least I can do for all your great advice. So i’ll see you tomorrow at Sumo, and plus i’m not on call so we can get wasted. I’ll probably going show up drunk like at The Hard Rock too, this time I will be ready for the super Patron shot too. Anyway, that’s enough fourplay…not with Benja, but with all of you. GET YOUR HEAD OUT OFF THE GUTTER!!! Without further ado, let’s get on to the music. There are far too many mixtapes to even count and this was far too painful thanks to HTML, but I still do it over a million times…but with a smarter Doc Holliday. We have here virtually every Phrillz mixtape I could find, and a couple mixtapes he didn’t work on that I felt like posting. So enjoy and once again Happy Bday Phrillz. Oh yeah, one piece of advice that I feel I should give…it’s actually good advice too people nothing perverted, I actually give pretty good advice. Now only if I followed my own advice. Anyway, keep doing your thing big homie, but like we talked about work on your projects and do your own shit. You are a great DJ like Benja, but I know it has to drive you guys crazy to play music you hate. So like Benja find your own lane, where you can do shit you truly love. I almost forgot we got the official sitcom on the way too starring me, Phrillz, Benja, and Big O where we all share an apartment together. So look out for that and find out what happen when people that love music live together and stop being polite… and start getting real.
