While I sit on the Broad St. Line next to this guy who smells like Pork fried rice. I throw my headphones on and I start listening to music on my blackberry. Then I realize that this summer was a different one for me musically. I was in a different mood this summer and I wasn’t able to enjoy all the new music that came out.
Here’s a list of the new music I got a chance to listen to more than once.
1. DA Sparkz – The Potential (AG family. Its on datpiff right now. #advertising)
2. Young Gunz new mixtape
3. Bones and Grit new mixtapes (Hustler Records family)
4. The UERadio Live mixtape (that’s my shit)
After that I get clips here and there of different songs from different albums and mixtape.
Last week I finally listened to Drake CD and not even all of it. I heard Fancy and Miss Me on the radio. (I hardly ever listen to the radio anymore unless its UERadioLive.com #advertising) Now I love those songs and play them all the time. I heard Rick Ross song BMF too. I like it more now because I saw the video. I didn’t kno Styles P was on the song. I guess I didn’t listen to the song long enough before. But back to this video. I like how this video shows the slow forming Mega Power team that Diddy has created. Selfish bastard. Just kidding. Let me join. I can be the official blogger.
I finally heard a snippet of Kanye West “Power” (I feel the shock and judgement as I wrote that.) All summer I heard this song was a mix between Fergie and Jesus……..way to go Kanye. I hear his twitter is the hottest thing out. That will fade just like when Lebron finally got a twitter. Did yall see that yesterday. He said that he’s gonna get his revenge on everybody who was talking about him this summer. Shut up Lebron! Your jumpoff Mom smash the homie. Only way to get revenge is to win a championship and even when you do that, everybody gonna say you couldn’t do it with Wade and Bosh. You can win!
The reason why I haven’t been on top of my music thing is because hip hop puts me in a happy mood. I was in the complete opposite mood so I listened to out of rock music. Some songs were over 10 years old from bands who either disbanded or had an entirely new cast. I made a little playlist of my favorites and listened to it almost everyday after work while laying in bed.
Rock music kept me sane this summer. (A few others did too) Thank yall. I salute yall. Now I’m about to walk into my new job. So I gotta go but I’ll finally drop my other blog later.
Shoutout to Assclown. That’s my future wife. She trying to fight it tho. Lol.
