Official Street Radio Spotlight: Eminem – Home & Home Tour (Live From The Doc Holliday Player Hater’s Ball) (Mixtape)

With the release of Bad Meets Evil I knew I wanted to go back and post some of Royce’s music if nothing else…Em…uh not so much.  I might even prefer a Bad Meets Evil version sans Em…I know blasphemy.  However, I do want to go back and listen a bit more.  I’m not sure what happened but along the way I kind of stop not being a fan of Em.  While I still think he’s talented as fuck i’m just not a fan of his music these days and not very relate-able these days.  I don’t always need to relate to everything either…but I don’t know something about Em just bothers me these days.  Nonetheless, I figured I would re-post this old mixtape and rant.  I did actually listen to Bad Meets Evil so maybe there’s hope after all…I definitely can’t say the same for Recovery. Oh yeah, the mixtape definitely isn’t Live From The Doc Holliday Player Hater’s Ball too…that would be kind of awesome though.

When I first saw this mixtape on 2dopeboyz I knew I had to post it eventually on the site.  Not because I had any plans of listening to it…and I don’t…just like Recovery, but because I know people LOVE Eminem.  He’s definitely America’s if not The World’s Most Beloved Rapper along with Jay-Z…oh yeah, you have to throw Kanye West in that group as well these days.  I have no problem with that or those guys really, who doesn’t love a winner…America was built on winning…AMERICA…FUCK YEAH!!! ***SALUTES***.  That’s probably why it’s so fun for some fuck sticks…no…asshats…no…fuck nuts…yeah, fuck nuts to hate on Nas.  Nas definitely isn’t losing nor do I think he’s ever really lost, he’s just more like you and I than the other aforementioned future legends.  By the way if he’s losing where the fuck can I sign up to lose too.  I don’t exactly considered getting fucked in the ass at the dealership this morning, my job on an almost regular basis, and in the streets…literally…my idea of winning.  As bad as all of that sounds i’m not doing nearly as bad as some of these muthafuckas screaming that Nas lost shit.  If I were them I would shut the fuck up…that’s what I would do…just saying.

Anyway, I still remain a fan of all of those future legends…except Eminem.  This has nothing to do with him being white either, while I do think it benefits him immensely though.  I mean I love white people…and their bitches.  I would even consider Eminem a future legend I guess, but I still would no longer consider myself a fan.  He has all the talent in the world and makes downright terrible music at times, which in my eyes is unforgivable.  All of the potential or talent in the world is useless when it’s not put to good use…trust me, I should know.  Plus his old albums just didn’t hold up as well to me over the years after the shock factor from his lyrics wears off.  In Eminem’s defense, I have listening to them in awhile.  I always try to consider myself an open minded fellow these days and if nothing else at least an informed hater, but when you make an album like the muthafucka below you are essentially dead to me.

There’s no coming back from that shit.  I’m about one of the nicest guys you will probably ever meet, albeit i’m very much an asshole, but pretty nice nonetheless.  However, when crossed a flip is switched, and Eminem crossed that line when he made that album.  Only time can heal those wounds.  He is essentially dead to me for the immediate future…no greatest MC…no top anything…nothing…DEAD!!!  I am hoping the Slaughterhouse signing can restore some of my lost faith though.  These days and especially this year, I no longer try to hate on muthafuckas, especially ignorantly.   I no longer hate on the likes of Rick Ross, The Roots, Dilated Peoples, Little Brother, Talib Kweli, and Slum Village like I once did so anything is possible.  However, Eminem still remains under scope of this once notorious hater.  Once again essentially in a class all his own, just as in real life.  Older and wiser, I no longer uses such powers for evil unless your a complete douche, and even though Eminem made the album whose name I won’t speak, like Lord Voldemort…whoops…he isn’t a complete douche and he did sign Slaughterhouse.  Usually, unless provoked I would much rather promote positivity and try to help artists I like on some gay ass Coombaya hippie shit.  With that said, I’m just unable to not speak on certain things at times.  I am trying to do a better job of explaining myself these days though.  At least, Eminem doesn’t wear drawers with dick holes in them…well, at least, to my knowledge…unlike Rosie O’Donnell.  Tracklisting and link below.
