Chris Brown – No Bullshit
Check out Chris Brown’s new video off his mixtape In My Zone. I have definitely had this mixtape on repeat for the last week. No Bullshit is one of my favorites off of it. I see Mr. Brown is doing big thing and gaining some sex appeal. He isnt no Trey Songz, but he’ll definitely get some more female attention after this video. Enjoy Ladies!
Camp Lo – Coolie High
“You need to come inside and check Lo
Relax yourself and let the sugar Lo flow”
This is the new video from Alicia Key’s Unthinkable (I’m Ready) off her latest album The Element of Freedom. This is, by far, one of my favorite songs off the album. I never would have thought of the idea of an interracial relationship. I love the whole concept and her sexy love interest. I really respect that they show that there isn’t just white against black racism, but also vice versa and varieties of different forms among all races. Mrs. Keys looks gorgeous, as always… years down the road, she will be considered a legend.
What do yall think?
Here’s Drake’s new video Find Your Love for his first single off his upcoming highly anticipated album Thank Me Later. Its about time Drake drops his album. Record sales will prove whether or not he is the next big thing. Anyway, this song has been stuck in my head all week. Lately, I havent really been feeling the hype surrounding Drake, but this definitely tickled my fancy.
Ja Rule – Clap Back
“We gon’ clap back, we gon’ clap back “
Whatever happened to Ja Rule? Oh yeah! 50 Cent killed his career.
Remeber Khia? She was a one hit wonder with “My Neck, My Back”? She came out with one video and rumors surfaced that she was killed by her boyfriend for transmitting AIDS to him. i definitely was one of the believers… but apparently everyone was wrong.
Here’s her new video “Been A Bad Girl”. Looks like we didnt miss anything over the years. No comment.
MC Lyte – Lyte As A Rock
“Do you understand the metaphor ‘light as a rock’?… It’s explaining how heavy the lady is.”
It’s about time I showed some love to the lady MCs. Where has MC Lyte been hiding?
I really was not sure if Usher would make a comeback with his latest album, but so far so good. This is one of my favorite songs off Raymond vs. Raymond (in stores as of late March). The video goes hard. In his last two videos, he hasn’t done much dancing until now. I see Usher doing his thing.
This has to be one of the hottest singles out right now. Definitely a confidence boost for all the females out there.
Nas – One Mic
“All I need is one mic…”

Philly’s own rapper Cassidy denied being HIV positive. Apparently some girl claimed she had slept with Cassidy numerous times in a New Jersey hotel. After failing to use any kind of birth control, both her and Cassidy were infected with the AIDS virus.
March 26th, Cassidy responded via his twitter, “|Stopactinstupid! I don’t even know that lil girl,” Cassidy Tweeted. “I just took a pic being nice…I only f**k with pretty girls, 10’s and I still don’t go raw.”
He also adds, “I’m sick with it, but not like that! That b**ch probably mad she not my type, lol. I’m perfectly healthy, so it can’t be true. It’s just the devil try make me mad because I’m about to go buy this bently [sic] today, I’m on my way to the bank. B**ch stop hating.”
I’m not sure whats going here, but all I know is that HIV and AIDS is something no one should be joking around with. Even no one has noticed, it is an extremely active killer within the Black community. It definitely should not be taken lightly. I guess we will never know… *kanyeshrug
He’s still a cutie though and he can flow.

Last week in Miami, Marion “Suge” Knight was involved in a car accident knocking out a couple teeth and preventing Suge from speaking. As a result of the accident, Suge missed a depostion involving a lawsuit against Kanye West.
This incident is involving a shooting in South Beach were Suge was shot in the leg. He is suing for medical bills and over $100,000 for a missing diamond earring.
Brumer from The Miami New Times comments, “He’s a very adept businessman (Suge)… he’s a mess, but he’s sharp. Nobody likes Kanye West anymore. Even though he’s still selling millions of records, everybody’s sick of him.”
Sidenote: I love Kanye… dont hate!

With a new era of West Coast rappers emerging, support from veteran rapper Ice Cube is non-existent.
Cube comments, “They ain’t on my level… don’t even remember ever meeting these clowns or even being in the same room with any of ‘em. They can’t make a name for themselves so they need help from the O.G.’s. I refuse to throw ‘em a life line. Fuck ‘em. It ain’t my job to make nobody famous”. A little harsh aye?
Even though Cube feels strongly towards this, he claims he has not completely turned his attention away from aspiring West Coast rappers. Cube continues, “Why don’t I produce up and coming rappers like I used to? I got burnt out. Niggas couldn’t take the baton and run wit [sic] it. I was sick of babysitting grown ass men and walking them through the industry. I felt like Dr. Frankenstein building uncontrollable monsters. How? If you DON’T make ‘em a star, they blame you. If you DO make ‘em a star, they leave you. I got sick of that ungrateful shit.”
Without specifically identifying who he was directly talking about, he did hint that he will possibly do so in his upcoming album I Am The West. “Now, a lot of people want me to name names. Buy the record. In July 13th. I ain’t naming names at this time, but I’m adding names. You let me know if you wanna be on the list.”
What a great sales pitch! Looks like someones hating and trying to sell records. I’m just saying.
