There is always an ongoing debate about who’s worthy and lyrically capable on being on the list of Hottest MCs. I agree 100% with Andre 3000. It all depends on the person and who they decide to be on their own top list. Everyone is different. Everyone looks for a distinguishing characteristic in their favorite MCs. It also depends on the time and movement that the hip hop culture is going through. Hip Hop ten years ago is not what it is today and that’s what makes it hip hop.
